  3. AUSTRALIA - Passport, visa and onward/return transportation required.
  4. Transit visa not necessary for up to 8-hour stay at airport.  Visitor visa
  5. valid 1 year  for multiple entries up to 3 months, no charge, requires 1
  6. application and 1 photo.  Applications for a stay of longer than 3 months
  7. or with a validity longer than 1 year, require fee of $25 (U.S.).  Need
  8. company letter for business visa.  Departure tax, $20 (Australian), paid at
  9. airport.  Minors not accompanied by parent require notarized copy of the
  10. child's birth certificate and notarized written parental consent from both
  11. parents.  AIDS test required for permanent resident visa applicants age 15
  12. and over; U.S. test accepted.  Send prepaid envelope for return of passport
  13. by mail.  Allow 3 weeks for processing.  For further information contact
